We at MCDL are aware that you may have concerns about the information you provide to us.
Providing personal information to MCDL is voluntary. You may use most of the features of the MCDL Summer Diving program without giving us any information about yourself, but sometimes we do need certain information to provide accurate results and to facilitate notifications, such as Insurance coverage. This Privacy Statement explains the data collection and use in those situations. Please read the complete Privacy Statement.
By using the MCDL website, you acknowledge receipt of this statement and agree to its terms.
Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Statement, personal information you provide to MCDL will not be shared outside of MCDL.
We occasionally provide Result information to newspapers and publications for community enjoyment and information. We will only provide the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
We actively seek pictures to post on our websites to promote our League and we encourage everyone to supply any pictures they wish to have posted on our websites.
We will not place a picture and a name together unless express written consent is received by a current officer of the MCDL League Board.
We will not sell, distribute, market or use in any fashion for any financial gain or other compensation to MCDL the information we collect to any outside agency, organization, or group for any reason. The information we collect is for our own reporting and recording purposes. It is not intended for any other use.
MCDL may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on MCDL or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of MCDL and its family of Web sites, or (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of MCDL, its Web sites, or the public.
We do not provide additional protection to the information you provide because we collect information that is readily available from other public sources, such as Telephone books, Newspapers, School or Local Community directories.
MCDL welcomes your comments regarding this Privacy Statement. If you believe that MCDL has not adhered to these privacy principles, please notify a current member of the League Board as soon as possible. We will use all reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.
