Dual Meets are usually on Sundays with warm ups starting at 4pm and lasting until 9 pm. Club practice times vary by pool, but usually have morning and afternoon practice hours Monday – Friday.

Country Glen Swim & Tennis Club is seeking a Head Dive Coach for the 2024 season.
Country Glen is located at 10055 Glen Rd, Potomac, MD 20854.
Our dive team ranges in age from 6-18 with skill levels that span from beginners to all-star divers who train year-round. Practices begin the week after Memorial Day and continue until MCDL Divisional and All-Stars Meets in late July. Practices are still to be determined but historically were from 5 to 7 pm Monday-Friday and possibly mornings. In 2023, our meets are at 4 pm on Sunday afternoons. The team typically has a mini practice beforehand at 2 pm. Additionally, there are several social events during the season where it is important the coach attend.
Qualifications for this position include:
Salary will be commensurate with experience/ability. There is also an opportunity for the Head Dive Coach to offer private lessons to divers on their own time for extra income. There has been a lot of interest in taking private lessons in past summers, especially at the end of the season.

2024 Head Dive Coach and Assistant Head Coach Job Description Carderock Springs Dive Team, MCDL
Carderock Springs Swim and Tennis Club located at 8200 Hamilton Springs Court, Bethesda, MD, is looking to hire a Head Coach and 1-2 Assistant Head Coaches for their 2024 summer Dive Team. The Carderock Cudas are passionate divers who range in age from 6-18 and all skill levels. The season begins in mid-June and runs through the end of July. Practices are generally held in the morning and evening (but we are willing to be flexible on practice times as long as it works with the Club).
The Head and Assistant Head Dive Coaches will report to the Club General Manager and will work collaboratively with the Carderock Dive Representative and other parent volunteers to ensure a fun and safe experience for dive team members.
Head Dive Coach Responsibilities:
● Develop diver skills in a fun and safe environment.
● Attend team activities including practices, dive meets, pep rallies, and other team-related activities.
● Prepare divers and dive sheets for all Dual, Invitation, Divisional, and All-Start meets.
● Coordinate with the dive representative, Carderock Club Manager, and parent volunteers.
● Manage coaching staff including developing weekly schedules and tracking hours worked.
● Be a role model for assistant coaches, coaches in training, and young divers.
Assistant Head Dive Coach Responsibilities:
● Help the Head Coach to develop diver skills in a fun and safe environment.
● Attend team activities including practices, dive meets, pep rallies, and other team-related activities,
as needed/scheduled by the Head Coach.
● Support the Head coach in preparing divers for all Dual, Invitation, Divisional, and All-Start meets.
● Work with the Head Coach to manage the Junior coaching staff.
● Foster a fun and spirited team and team activities, while serving as a role model to young divers.
Qualifications:
The Head Dive Coach and Assistant Dive Coaches must have the following certifications before the start of the season. Certifications must be current and active at the time of employment:
● Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
● Successful completion of USA Swimming’s Athlete Protection Online Training Course
● Lifesaving certification
● MCDL Coaching Clinic attendance in May/June
The Head Dive Coach and Assistant Dive Coaches are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a diving coach.
The Head Dive Coach and Assistant Dive Coaches are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of personal diving experience and an understanding of the proper and safe execution of dives.
Compensation:
Carderock Springs Swimming Club, Inc., pays a competitive salary that corresponds with experience. The salary will be divided across regular club pay periods with the applicable portion paid every two weeks. The Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach can also offer private lessons to interested divers. Carderock has an established compensation rate for private lessons.

We are looking for an asst. head coach. This is a great position for a rising High School Jr. NCC Dive Team is a fun loving group of divers with all skill levels from first timers to record breaking All Stars divers. Our team has between 40-55 Divers ranging from age 5-18. Our Assistashould be committed to developing diver’s skills in a safe and fun environment.
2024 Summer MCDL Dive Season begins end of May and ends last week in July. Practice Times are 5-7pm before MCPS Schools are out for summer and 11-12pm & 5-7pm after school is out.
2024 Asst. Dive Coach Qualifications:
* Experienced Diver, works well with kids
* Previous coaching expereince a plus and Lifesaving a plus
* MCDL Coaching Clinic attendance in May/early June required.
2024 Asst. Dive Coach Responsibilities:
*Available to Assist the Head coach at all practices from Monday - Friday 5:00- 7:00pm and then changing to when school is out to M-F 11:00m-12:00pm and 5:00m-7:00pm **CAN BE FLEXIBLE if need to miss due to Zones or Nationals**
* Asst. Head Coach with preparing Divers for all Dual, Invitatinal, Divisional, and All-Star Meets
*Attend Dive Team Social Events/Banquet
Help prepare Dive Sheets, set up for practice and supervise practices.
Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with experience/ability. There is also an opportunity for the Asst. Dive Coach to offer private lessons to divers on their own time and a dive clinic in August.

Flower Valley Dive Team is seeking a head dive coach for the 2023 summer season. The ideal candidate would have prior dive coaching experience and enjoy working with kids of a variety of ages and diving abilities. Prior participation in a recreational or competitive dive team is desired. Knowledge of the proper sequence of dive skill acquisition is a requirement. Good team management and organizational skills are necessary as is a desire to help every diver progress to the best of their potential and have fun.
Responsibilities include:
· Provide daily dive instruction appropriate to several different levels of divers.
· Work with dive team representatives and assistant coaches.
· Coach at all dive meets including Rookie Meet (June), Divisionals, All-Stars, and Robin Hood Invitational (all in July).
· Attend all social events and planning meetings.
· Help create an atmosphere of team-spirited fun for all ages.
· Be a role model for assistant coaches, coaches in training and young divers.
· Other team duties as needed specific to Summer Dive Season 2024.
Practices are typically:
· Monday -Friday 4:30-6:30 pm until public schools are closed for summer, and then
· Tuesday-Friday mornings from 9:00 - 11:00 am and Mondays-Fridays 4:00 - 6:00 pm; Wednesday afternoon practices are not held when our pool hosts a home swim meet.
· Some flexibility on times of practices may be considered as long as it meets the pool schedule of the Flower Valley Bath and Racquet Club and swim team schedules.
